FIRST PERSON BIO, MY RESUME IS SHINY: Opal Ellyse Madison, WI

I've already made it, haven't signed a major label record deal YET, but I have a college degree, and I'm months away from receiving my Master's Degree in Media Psychology. I have climbed the corporate ladder at the fortune 500 company I joined after college and got to the point where we took the company above the 1.1 Billion mark, yeah at 24 I was toasting the 1.1Billion Mark with higher ups at an executive dinner celebrating the success of a government contract we had. I did the press release on that, I was Senior Operations Manager as well as head of both Training and Quality. Our site in Madison alone employed over 1,000 people and I was Condoleezza Rice in that place, that's how I got the name "BossLady". Closing my own office doors, so high up I no longer hired or fired people, I just promoted. The only woman, the only minority at that level. And then one day in a board room it hit me, I could be doing this at 50, everyone around me is 50, I need to follow my dreams and do what it is God made me to do, I need to rap again. I had to learn that just because you're good at something it doesn't mean that whatever it is, is what you are supposed to spend your life doing. What you love and what you are amazing at is what you are supposed to spend your life doing. See I have been getting paid to stand up in front of groups of people and talk ever since college, now I just get to talk how I want and believe in what I say. Opal Ellyse is on her dream trip with a one-way ticket, I'm already a success so I'm not chasing that, I'm stepping into my divine destiny with this music, I've done it for free and now people are paying, one day they will pay enough for me to have all I want materially and give back more than I've ever made, until then I'm rocking with all I have. Take a listen, every single verse is a real piece of my life, I don't rap what's not true, pick a line, I can tell you who or what inspired it. This is my life, I'm growing as a person and as an artist every day. I am blessed to have the opportunities I have, and to have been shown the love I've been shown. It's amazing to have "fans" of my music, I make this for me, these are my stories, every last one of my songs is from some part of my life. To know that other people can relate to it and enjoy it fulfills that basic human need of belonging. . .the love is incredible. Who is Opal Ellyse?
