80's baby, 90's raised she couldn't help but be influenced by the power that is hip hop.  You may find it odd that a celebrated corporate and community leader with a Master's degree in organizational development believes her real talents are in the arts.

Whether over a bass driven beat or performing spoken word poetry, her melodic voice coupled with a punchline every line delivery sets her a cut above the rest.  She's won awards, she's recorded with Juicy J, she's been on every radio station and stage in her city.  It doesn't matter if you are new to hearing Opal or a longtime friend or fan there is always something new to discover.
